The highest ranked prospect by Rivals.com in the state of Indiana is Carmel's Morgan Newton. The 6-4, 205-pound quarterback prospect checks in at No. 71 on Rivals.com's top 100 and has close to a double digit offer total. Purdue is one of those on Newton's offer list and the interest is mutual.

As a junior past fall Newton threw for 1,882 yards and 25 touchdowns and also rushed for 753 yards and 11 more scores.
