Linebacker Nigel Mitchell-Thornton from Stephenson High in Stone Mountain, Ga., was one of the stars at the Nike Combine in Atlanta. He checked in at 6-foot-2.5, 219 pounds and ran the 40-yard dash on a slow surface in 4.72 seconds. He did the shuttle in 4.38 seconds and had a 30.5-inch vertical leap.
