Wheaton (Ill.) North running back Mike Trumpy has five scholarship offers to his credit and looking at his list, one common thread among those schools is academic excellence.

Northwestern, Stanford, Vanderbilt, Northern Illinois and Western Michigan are the five schools that have already notified 6-0, 197-pound Trumpy of their interest, though more schools are recruiting heavily.
