Franklin's move to the perimeter paying off
Duncanville forward Roger Frankling has been a mainstay in the starting lineup for Duncanville since his freshman season, but where he has been in that lineup has been a constant transition. The 6-foot-6, 217-pound Rivals.com three-star prospect used to be the post in the middle that cleaned up the glass and owned the area around the rim.
Even against bigger players, Franklin would out-hustle and out-work opponents in the paint. The problem, however, is that Franklin wasn't going to play for a Division I college as a center with his frame. Just like he showcases in every game Franklin has ever played, he gave 110-percent every day on the court to transition to a new position - small forward.
Franklin has scholarship offers from Texas A&M, Indiana, Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma, Marquette and Utah.
