2010 receiver puts his name on the map
The Tuscaloosa NIKE Camp had a number of talented prospects in attendance, but one of the best was also one of the youngest. Class of 2010 wide receiver Markeith Ambles entered the camp with a goal of putting his name on the map and he did just that. Not only did he make a name for himself, but he was talked about as one of the top prospects there.
"I think I had a good day," Ambles said right after the camp on Saturday. "I just tried to come out and show my skills. I wanted to come out, get my name out there, and let everyone know about me."
Arguably the top group at the camp was the receivers with guys like Jamal Patterson, Braxton Lane, Chris Smith, and Michael Bowman on hand.
Ambles enjoyed competing with those guys, but he is not concerned about how he looked compared to them.
"I just want to play my game. I do not worry about how I would rate against those guys. I just play hard and whatever people think, people think."
He may not be calling for the attention, but he is a very confident young man.
