Vols Making Push For Four-Star OL
With 24 offers on the table and more coming in by the day, the football future for Glen Ellyn, Illinois offensive lineman Chris Watt appears to be quite bright as he works tirelessly this spring and summer to become a better player.
Tennessee is but one of many schools trying to catch Watt's eye. Pulling him South may be a tough chore with Midwest heavyweights like Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Michigan, along with home-state school Illinois among those pushing hard to impress Watt.
"I think I finish my blocks really well," Watt said when asked for a scouting report on his game and what has made him one of the most sought after prospects in the country at his position.
Watt (6-foot-3, 280 pounds) hopes to narrow down his list to 8-10 schools by the end of May or early June. One school hoping to make that soon-to-be-shortened list is Tennessee who recently pulled the trigger and offered the talented trench player.
Rivals.com rates Watt a 4-star offensive guard and the 52nd ranked player in the class of 2009.
