After landing Nick Perry from Michigan for its 2008 class, the University of Southern California is once again heading to the Midwest in search of pass rusher.

For 2009, it's Craig Drummond, a 6-foot-5, 260-pound strongside defensive end from Chicago (Ill.) Morgan Park.

With May evaluations in full swing, Drummond has been kept busy working out for some of the major football programs in the country - such as Ohio State, Tennessee, Louisiana State and USC - each of who have offered Drummond an official scholarship.

I was happy, because it's one of the schools I wanted to hear from," Drummond said about the offer from USC. "I'm very interested (in USC). I like the team, the coaches and the school."
