Last fall Rantavious Wooten (5' 10" 160) helped Glades Central to an 11-2 record. The Raiders advanced in the Class 3A state playoffs until they were upended by eventual state champion Naples in a hard fought game by the score of 27-24.

Wooten told the PantherLair," Last fall I played both quarterback and wide receiver for my school. This year I will only play wide receiver and that is the position I am being recruited to play in college. Last year I scored 14 touchdowns. I ran for 700+ yards and caught passes for 600+ yards. I also threw for a couple of hundred yards."
