A&M first in four days of camps for Coffey
Many colleges in the Big 12 typically schedule their camps around the first weekend in June in order to get a close look at prospects in order to finalize their spring evaluations.
That fact adds up to a long road trip for Denton Guyer offensive lineman Jess Coffey.
The 6-foot-7, 270-pound Coffey participated in a camp at Texas A&M on Saturday, drove to Oklahoma State for a camp Sunday, will be at Kansas' camp Monday and will be taking an unofficial visit to Nebraska on Tuesday.
Coffey has scholarship offers from New Mexico, New Mexico State, Ole Miss, Southern Miss, Central Florida, Central Arkansas, Houston, Washington State and Tulsa. He is also gaining interest from Texas A&M, Oklahoma State, Kansas, Nebraska and Florida.
