Middleton proves his worth at A&M Elite camp
Charleston (SC) Porter Gaud School small forward Khris Middleton visited Texas A&M not that long ago for an unofficial visit. Just after that visit, Middleton received an offer from the Aggies and committed to the A&M class of 2009.
This past weekend Middleton visited College Station again for the A&M Elite camp, but this time was his first time back in Aggieland as an Aggie commit. That caused the 6-foot-7, 205-pound Rivals.com three-star prospect to be one of the most watched player at the camp by observers, and Middleton didn't disappoint.
He consistently showed his long range shot, which is no surprise to anyone on the court. But Middleton proved much more than just a perimeter threat. He is extremely athletic and showed his ball handling skills as he was able to get to the rim and was also a solid rebounder from the wing. Defensively, Middleton had quick feet and was able to cut off drives and get into position.
Even with a superb camp, Middleton, however, wasn't 100-percent pleased with his performance.
