2010 LB prospect is Stout

It seems that colleges are becoming aware of recruits earlier and earlier. It is no longer unusual for an athlete going into his junior season to already have an offer. There are several 2010 players who already do. One of them is inside linebacker Zac Stout (6-2, 220, 4.7) from Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian.

Pardon the pun, but Stout is a stout when comes to playing middle linebacker. To give you an indication on how talented this young man is, he played six games as a freshman on a State Championship team. Those six games included the league, CIF and state championship earning a varsity letter on a team that sent 11 players to the D-I level. He did that while rushing over 1,000 yards and leading the freshman team in tackles.

As a sophomore, Stout started all 14 games and helped Oaks Christian win their fifth consecutive league and CIF championship after leading the team in tackles with 112. He also accounted 22 tackles for loss, five forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and one interception.
