East Texas running back on Baylor radar
Baylor has not offered many running backs in the class of 2009. Coach Art Briles and company seem to be selective at the position, waiting for a special prospect to catch their eye. One player that is receiving interest from the Bears, though, is Tyler (Tex.) Chapel Hill's Matthew Tucker.
The big 6-foot-1, 208-pound Tucker could project to a number of positions in college and plays some linebacker and safety for the Bulldogs in addition to his tailback duties. However, he says he is gaining interest and offers from schools at one position only.
"It's going good," said Tucker of the recruiting process. "Arkansas, UTEP, and Kansas have offered me right now. I'm hearing from Baylor and TCU also. They're all looking at me at running back."
