Tajh Boyd heads for 'Football U' Friday
Mr. and Mrs. Tim Boyd will be seeing a lot of sunshine over the next two weeks. The Hampton, Va., parents of West Virginia University 2009 commit Tajh Boyd, 17, will head with their 4-star quarterback son to Deltone, Fla., on Friday, and then plan to head to Orange County, Calif., a week from Monday.
Boyd, the runner-thrower from Coach Bill Dee's Phoebus Phantom football program, was selected to participate in the Top 100 Football University mini-camp in the suburb of Orlando, and it appears then the 6-foot-2, 190-pound high school rising senior may participate in what formerly was known as the EA Sports Elite 11 national QB camp.
