Todd Golper solid as a rock

One of the first players to commit to UCLA for the class of 2009 is four-star linebacker Todd Golper (6-1, 228, 4.62) from Arcadia, Calif. Golper is the reason why UCLA isn't looking to recruit anymore Mike linebacker because they feel in Golper, they have landed one of the best in the west.

The Bruins have a point in their thinking because, Golper earned all-state, was his League's Defensive Player of the Year, first-team all-area and first-team all-region after racking up 121 tackles, 11 sacks, four forced fumbles, two interceptions while both of his picks he returned for touchdowns.

On the offensive side of the ball playing tight end, he accounted for 30 receptions for 528 yards and six touchdowns.

While the Bruins have lost two of their early commits there is no need to fear that Golper will be anywhere, but UCLA next season.

"I'm as solid as there is," Golper said. "I'm not looking anywhere else but UCLA."
