The trip was both an audition and a reunion for Anthony Barr. The junior from Torrance, Calif., turned Notre Dame's summer camp into an unqualified success on both fronts. Not only did Barr net a verbal scholarship offer from Irish head coach Charlie Weis, he also returned to his South Bend birthplace where his father and uncle once ran to daylight inside Notre Dame Stadium.
