Top in-state junior enjoys Michigan experience
One of the top junior prospects in the state, Livonia Stevenson running back Austin White has already been verbally offered scholarship by both Michigan and Michigan State. On Saturday, the 6-0, 190-pound athlete had a chance to see the Wolverines in action, attending the season opener against Utah.
"It was amazing," said White of the visit. "All the fan support and everything that was there - it was really cool to be there with all the people and see how the Big House is during a game. It was just real cool to be up there."
White had visited Michigan twice before, joining his older brother on a trip to Ann Arbor and also attending the Wolverines' one-day summer camp in early June. Despite some level of familiarity gained during those trips, the most recent visit was his first chance to see the game atmosphere.
