Video: First look at J.C. Copeland
Chad Simmons
UGASports.com A junior looking to make a name for himself this fall is J.C. Copeland out of Lagrange (GA) Troup County. He is lining up defensive end and he explodes off the edge.
The 6-foot-2, 230 pound end is a very good athlete. He is someone that could end up at linebacker on the next level, but he is playing end now and doing a good job there.
We were down in Lagrange recently to see the junior in action against Banneker. He was in the backfield a number of times and he made a couple of big plays that night.
He is a new name to many, but he is one we expect to receive a good amount of attention between now and signing day 2010.

Copeland Explodes Off the Edge
Quick Notes: Copeland transferred to Troup from Manchester late in the 2007 school year. He may be best suited size wise for a linebacker position, but he has to work on playing in space before then.
