San Antonio DT takes in Aggieland
When the University of Miami came to College Station to take on Texas A&M this past weekend, many of the top players from across the state in the class of 2009 were in attendance. Almost every Aggie commit as well five-star prospects Craig Loston and Christine Michael made the drive to Aggieland.
However, the list of junior attendees rivaled that of the class above them. One of the more intriguing visitors was San Antonio East Central defensive tackle Torrea Peterson. The 6-foot-3, 287-pound defender made his second trip to the A&M campus in a matter of months.
"It was definitely a good experience for me," said Peterson. "That was the first time that I'd ever been to a game at A&M. I was really impressed with a lot of things. I thought there was a lot of tradition pouring out, that the fans know all the yells and the things like that. It was cool to see the whole stadium doing the same thing.
