Jones helping lead nationally ranked team
Michigan defensive tackle commitment DeQuinta Jones is starring this fall for his nationally ranked Bastrop High School team. Bastrop was ranked as the No. 4 team in the country prior to last week's game, but inexplicably fell nine spots despite a 60-25 win over rival Rayville.
Bastrop scored 54 points in the second half, including 31 in the third quarter after falling behind at halftime to Rayville who features four-star wide receiver Kenny Bell. The 6-4, 302-pound Jones talked about the game and also about his performance this season.
