Florida cornerback Joshua Brown made his first trip to the state of Iowa this past weekend on an official visit with the Hawkeyes. The 5-foot-11, 204-pound Brown, who attends Dixie M. Hollins High School in St. Petersburg, was impressed with his stay in Iowa City.

Brown's host on the official visit was freshman running back Jeff Brinson, who is also from St. Petersburg. Brinson showed the high school senior around town and shared his experiences from his first year on campus.

Iowa was Brown's second official visit after a trip to Wake Forest in September. Up next is a visit to Troy for the Trojans' Homecoming game on November 8. Currently, those schools make up Brown's top three.
