Omaha (Neb.) Gross fullback C.J. Zimmerer has played his senior season with the added pressure of being one of only two in-state prospects to have accepted scholarship offers from Nebraska for the 2009 class, but he has more than proved by his performance that he is worthy of such a distinction.

Heading into the Class B state playoffs, the 6-foot-1, 220-pounder was listed in the top ten of Class B rushers with 110 carries for 1,135 yards and 16 touchdowns (10.32 yards per carry).
