Nearly two decades ago Lonnie Palelei ranked among the nation's top high school football players. He graduated from Blue Springs High School in Missouri and planned to attend at Purdue. Things didn't work out in West Lafayette, so the fierce pass rusher transferred to UNLV and converted to the offensive line.
