Tuberville gone, so is DB commitment
Moments after the resignation of Auburn head coach Tommy Tuberville, the Tigers lost its first commitment in the 2009 recruiting class.
Batesville (Miss.) South Panola DB David Conner said he now planned to open up his recruitment.
"I really wanted to play under coach Tuberville's leadership," said the 5-foot-9, 185-pounder. "I really did. He's a great guy and a great coach and I saw that when I went over for a visit during the summer.
"Right now, I'm going to decommit and open things back up. I really wanted to be under coach Tuberville's leadership. I really wanted to play for him."
