Martin enjoys official visit
Sean Martin, the quick 6-foot-1, 180-pound cornerback from Corona (Calif.) Santiago High School, who committed to the Oregon State coaches at the Rose Bowl in November, was one of several official visitors in town this weekend.
Martin was last in Corvallis back in June for a football camp. This time around he was able to relax and have a lot more fun, all while spending time with his future coaches and teammates.
"The visit went pretty good," said Martin. "We went to the rec center and did some bowling. Ryan McCants was my host."
McCants attended the same high school (Santiago) that Martin currently attends.
On Saturday, the group of official visitors got a tour around the academic side of Oregon State. Martin was especially interested in one area where he hopes to study.
"I'm thinking of majoring in business," Martin said.
