Hatfield discusses OSU visit
Oregon State has strong ties with Lake Oswego (Ore.) head football coach, Steve Coury. A former Beaver standout himself, Coury knows what it takes to succeed at the college level and had no problem recommending athlete Micah Hatfield to the Beaver coaches.
On paper, Hatfield looks a bit undersized, but he has the intangibles of great route running and good bursts of speed that have helped catapult him to one of the state's top receivers. He finished the year with 45 receptions for 868 yards (19.29 yards/catch), and added 13 touchdowns for the Lakers.
