Sooners Land Another D/FW Star
Throughout Oklahoma's history the Dallas-Fort Worth area's impact on Sooner gridiron success is an undeniable reality.
As Oklahoma's recruiting focus turned from the class of 2009 to the 2010 group it seems that tradition rolls on. Oklahoma's final two commitments for the class of 2009 were Arlington Bowie's Jarrett Brown and Lancaster's Demontre Hurst and it's first commit for the class of 2010 was Flower Mound Marcus defensive tackle Daniel Noble.
On Tuesday that streak was extend to four when Irving Nimitz safety Eddrick Loften made a commitment to the Sooner coaching staff.
Most had thought Loften was leaning Oklahoma's way but he said until last night he wasn't sure.
"Last night I was just sitting around and I had a talk with my family," Loften explained. "We got to talking about and I knew that Oklahoma was right for me."
