Inland Empire DE lands first offer

While the name of defensive end Andrew Hudson (6-3, 215, 4.8) from Redlands (Calif.) Redlands East Valley (REV) isn't a household name with recruitneks yet, there is an outstanding chance that he will be before too long. He currently has one offer on the table.

"A lot of Pac 10 schools are very intrigued with Andrew after they see tape of him," REV coach Kurt Bruich said. "A couple of guys that have already been by here say Andrew is a rarity in California. They said he's one of those guys you find in Florida or South Carolina. Andrew is very explosive off the edge and he has that core flexibility that really stands out."

Hudson earned first-team all-CIF and first-team all-league as a junior after accounting for 70 tackles, nine sacks and one fumble recovery.

The scouting report on Hudson is he is unstoppable on the high school level if you try to handle him with one blocker. He has an outstanding motor and never takes a play off. He definitely has a lot of upside.
