Gray willing to wait on Purdue
Warren (Mich.) Fitzgerald linebacker Austin Gray has already begun to add offers from Big Ten programs and will be one of the Midwest's best at his position in the class of 2010. Purdue was one of the first schools to offer Gray, but changes with their coaching staff have delayed their recruitment of the 6-2, 225-pound 'backer.
Gray has been a two-year starter at linebacker for Fitzgerald High. He tallied 105 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and three sacks from the middle linebacker position as a sophomore and recorded 97 tackles and nine sacks as a junior, earning first team all-league, first team all-county and first team all-Metro Detroit East both seasons.
