You can never have enough offensive linemen who have size and quickness that is why Avery Coates (6-4, 305, 5.2) from Moreno Valley (Calif.) Rancho Verde is beginning to catch the eye of several D-I schools.

"All the usual suspects are showing interest in Avery," Rancho Verde Coach Pete Duffy said. "I think he will be an early offer guy and is a Pac 10 level player."

The usual suspects are Arizona, Arizona State, UCLA, USC, Colorado and Nebraska.

"Avery is a really good student on and off the field," Duffy said. "He's very young, he's only 16 and just coming into his own."

Coates earned all-league for his junior season performance.
