So far it's shaping up to be a Big 12 battle for Arlington (Texas) Bowie High defensive lineman Diamonte Wheeler, and the Huskers may have some ground to make up. The question is, will the 6-foot-2, 255-pounder make it to Lincoln before deciding?

Besides NU, Wheeler also has Division I tenders from Oklahoma State, Kansas and Houston. He has already visited the Stillwater campus, as well as Houston's.
