Redshirt Review: Geno Munoz
With the graduation of Sammie Stroughter and Shane Morales, the Oregon State coaches will be looking long and hard at the wide receivers this spring. "He has been playing X receiver, but we may move him to the slot to compete with Casey Kjos," said offensive coordinator Danny Langsdorf recently. "Geno had a really strong bowl practice week and he's really come along."
A year on the scout team has taught Munoz a great deal, and he has received help from not only the coaches, but the players as well.
"I would have to say my route running," Munoz said when asked about his greatest improvement over the year. "I feel that I can come off the line a lot faster now and get out of my breaks a lot quicker."
