QB competition still undecided
In what was hoped against at the start of spring practice but somewhat expected by the end, offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn made it official Saturday that Auburn's quarterback competition will drag through the summer.
Though the competition has been whittled down to two - Neil Caudle and Kodi Burns - there hasn't been enough to differentiate the two quarterbacks and there certainly wasn't enough to take away from Saturday's offensive-dominated, 57-31 victory in the A-Day game.
"I think both of them had success," Malzahn said. "They did what they were coached to do. Both of them made some plays and that was good to see."
"We're not ready to make any decisions right now. When we get to fall camp, we'll start that thing going."
