Bessemer (Ala.) Jess Lanier linebacker LaDarius Owens made his third visit to Auburn last weekend since Gene Chizik and the new staff took over in December.

"It went great," said Owens. "I had a good time hanging out with some of the players and talking to the coaches. Me and Chiz also had a good talk. It went really well."

Owens, 6-foot-2, 225-pounds, spoke to several of the Tigers' coaches, players, and learned more about the academic side of college.
