As the Houston Cougars continue to gain momentum in the 2010 recruiting class with seven verbal commitments thus far, there has been a clear interest paid to the defensive side of the ball.

One of the most recent offers extended on that side of the ball went out to a local prospect in Klein Forest defensive back Damion Payne. He was excited to get the offer.
