The Nebraska staff had good fortune in landing an award-winning SoCal linebacker in last year's class, and they're making a push for a few others for this class. One of them is Fontana (Calif.) Kaiser outside linebacker Josh Shirley.

The 6-foot-3, 225-pound Shirley has tenders from Nebraska, USC, UCLA, Miami, Tennessee, Colorado, Stanford, Cal, Washington, Arizona and San Diego State.
