Four-Star Defensive End Talks Commitment

VolQuest.com When Lane Kiffin put together his coaching staff over a seemingly endless two month period this winter, the Vols' head man did so with an eye towards assembling a team strong on recruiting credentials. The success of that venture has been apparent of late, especially on the defensive side of the football, including today with the commitment of four-star defensive end J.C. Copeland from Lagrange, Georgia.
Copeland (6-foot-2, 240 pounds) picked the Vols after seeing the recruiting efforts from the staff intensify around him to a high level in recent weeks.
Rivals.com rates Copeland as a four-star prospect and the No. 18 weakside defensive end in the nation.
