Long-built relationship steers top recruit to A&M

AggieYell.com Dripping Springs forward Daniel Alexander became the first commit to the Texas A&M class of 2010 last week when the Rivals.com four-star prospect pledged his commitment on an unofficial visit to College Station. The 6-foot-8, 195-pound Alexander, ranked No. 32 in the latest 2010 Rivals150, ended literally years of recruitment with the commitment.
And in the end, it wasn't all that tough a decision for him to make.
Alexander committed to A&M over Oklahoma, Texas, USC, Kansas and Arizona.
