Fullerton (Calif.) Community College defensive end Joel Bonomolo has never been to Auburn. The 6-foot-3, 245-pounder has never met any of the Tiger coaches.

His only contact with Auburn has been phone calls with lead recruiter Trooper Taylor. The Tiger assistant head coach/receivers coach is known for being a great recruiter. Bonomolo sees why.

Although Bonomolo has only talked to Taylor over the phone, the Auburn coach has the top junior college target on the verge of a commitment.

"They are on the top of my list right now," said Bonomolo. "Auburn is definitely on top."
