It is still very early in the recruiting process and the Michigan State staff is being very selective as far as whom they are going to offer. Coach Mark Dantonio has not offered a lot of players, but the ones he has are very talented. SpartanMag.com has decided to break the Hot List down to offensive and defensive prospects. See who could be scoring and blocking for touchdowns in Spartan Stadium in the near future.
| style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-weight: bold;">Quarterback Robert Bolden
THE SKINNY: Robert Bolden's recruitment has had more twist and turns than the Mississippi River. The latest is he will be heading to Penn State this weekend and will spend several days out in Happy Valley. Penn state wantstto take two quarterbacks and Bolden is teh 2nd guy they want. Some believe Bolden may be more afraid of competing with Andrew Maxwell than with Kevin Newsome and Paul Jones.
| style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-weight: bold;">Running Back Austin White
THE SKINNY: Austin White is keeping this pretty close to the vest at this point. He has been hitting camps and doing well at each stop. He was in East Lansing last week and Ann Arbor this week. White has been showcasing his skills as a wide receiver at camps and his versatility is what makes him a high-level recruit. White's next stop is LSU. The Spartans are hoping White ends up joining his family in Green.
| style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-weight: bold;">Quarterback Taylor Graham
THE SKINNY: Graham was offered by the Spartans less than a month ago and then made his way to East Lansing for camp. It was obvious to those taht saw him at camp that he has teh skilsl to be an high-level Big Ten quarterback. Graham was offered last week by his dad's alma mater, Ohio State. Does Graham go with thr childhood favorite or does he look for a school that has the best system for his skill set. That could be a key question in his recruitment.
| style="color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-weight: bold;">Running Back Nick Hill
THE SKINNY: Nick Hill showed up at the Spartan Camp last Frday and after a strong performacne he was offered a schoalrship. Hill did a lot of drill where he showcased his skills as a receiver and punt returner. Hill's size is obvioulsy not a concern for Coach Dantonio nd Coach Enos. Hill epitomizes the saying "it is not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the dog in the fight.
