Houston defender takes in Baylor
As is the case with many of the state's top players, they really like Baylor and the Baylor coaches really like them, but the Bears are waiting until the final summer camp to figure out how their numbers will shake out. Klein defender Kevin Kisseberth is in that group, and he has made a couple trips to Baylor camps and the Baylor campus over the summer.
"I went up and visited the campus recently. I talked with the tight ends coach and the linebackers coach, and earlier in the summer I attended the camp in Houston," said Kisseberth. "Also my head coach calls them a few times and asks them about me. "
"They said that they were going to wait until all the camps are over, and then they're going to sit down and evaluate all the film," he said.
At 6-3, 230lbs the Houston area defender is being recruited by schools at both linebacker and defensive end. Teams are giving him the option to choose which position he would like to play when he arrives on campus.
"After this season I'll probably choose which position I want to play in college," he said. "Most of the places that are offering me scholarships are letting me choose which position I want to play when I get there."
With the couple of visits he has made to see Baylor or participate in their camps, it's not hard to see the level of interest that he has in the Bears.
"They're definitely up at the top of my list. I like them a lot," said Kisseberth. "I would probably commit (if offered) I would have to think about it, but I can see myself going there."
Kisseberth would like to make a decision before his season if possible, and he's looking for a school with good academics and coaches that he could get along with for four years. He plans on attending the Tulsa camp this weekend.
