Major sees first college action
BOULDER, Colo. - Coming into the season, redshirt freshman linebacker Jon Major did not know when he would make his college debut. The Buffaloes are deep at his position and Major has been recovering from a torn ACL, which he suffered last August.
Major estimated that he was at "about 85 percent" when the Buffaloes began preseason camp. Now, he is "pretty darn close" to 100 percent.
"I have no more pain in my knee," Major said. "I don't see myself having any problems with it from here on out."
His improved health led into the coaches' decision to play Major for the first time last Saturday against Wyoming.
