Rivals100 safety back from Knoxville
Tennessee didn't have it's best day on the field on Saturday, but the Vols had a strong showing on the recruiting front, with three official visitors among the Rivals.com top-100 making it to campus. One of those was Dietrich Riley, who made a cross-country trek from La Canda, Calif. to check out Lane Kiffin's program.
Riley (6-foot-1, 200 pounds), is ranked as the nation's No. 10 safety prospect and was among the first prospects to the new Vols' staff targeted in the offseason.
Pulling him all the way to Knoxville for an official visit was something of a coup, and it appears the effort wasn't wasted.
Rivals.com rates Riley as a four-star prospect and the No. 94 overall player in the nation.
