Shrive ready for more trips

One of the nation's top offensive tackles has been a busy man of late, visiting schools across the country and evaluating his college options.

Junior Eric Shrive, the four-star lineman from Scranton (Penn.) West Scranton has already visited Florida, Miami, Notre Dame, Pitt, Syracuse and Penn State.

"I'll be heading out to Illinois on Thursday," Shrive said. "Next week I'll be heading to Ohio State. Then the weekend of April 19, I'll be heading out to Rutgers.

"I'm just weighing my options right now. No one is sticking out yet."

The 6-foot-7, 285-pound prospect checks in at No. 49 on the Rivals100 list.

He holds offers from all the schools he has visited, as well as programs such as Oklahoma, Michigan, Florida State and Auburn.

He also said he is undecided as to whether he will attend summer camps.
