Buckeyes offer 2010 RB

Class of 2010 running back Corey Brown already has an offer list that would make most seniors envious. That list has grown recently with one of college football's powerhouses jumping into the mix.

The 6-foot, 171-pound junior running back from Springfield (Pa.) Cardinal O'Hara picked up an offer from Ohio State a few days ago. Where does that put the Buckeyes?

"I found out about the Ohio State offer about four days ago over an email," Brown said. "They said they were going to offer me on September 1.

"I really like them a lot. It was shocking because they really hadn't sent me mail or anything. I'd say they're pretty high. Every other team is about the same until I start taking visits."

Brown declined to attend camps or combines for the most part this summer, but he will have a busy fall. The talented running back will take in several games at schools across the region.

"Yes, I plan on going to a lot of games," he explained.

"I know for a fact I'm going to the Rutgers-Fresno State game. Michigan had invited me to a game but I won't be able to make it because we have a game that same day.

"I may go to the Maryland-Cal game and I want to see if I can go to Penn State-Michigan."

Brown now holds offers from Ohio State, Illinois, Maryland, Penn State, Pittsburgh and Rutgers.
