Belleville (Ill.) East defensive end Warren Herring made the trip from his home just east of St. Louis earlier in March to participate in Kansas State's junior day activities. The trip made an impression on the 6-foot-3, 230-pound prospect enough so that he helped continue the trend of commitments coming earlier in the process when he made the decision on where he wanted to play his college football.
