Four-star receiver adds Kentucky offer

As one of the top prospects in the state of Mississippi, Hattiesburg (Miss.) Oak Grove wide receiver standout Robert Johnson has already collected offers from all of the major in-state programs. Recently, Johnson extended his offer list outside of the state but added to his SEC tally.

"I got another offer [from] Kentucky," Johnson said.

The Kentucky interest makes five offers for the four-star prospect. While he has a limited knowledge of the Kentucky program, Johnson is very open to looking into what Rich Brooks and his staff have to offer.

"I really don't have anything against Kentucky," he said. "They have a really good program. I really would love a chance to visit their campus and also I love their jerseys. If feels good for me to get another offer from an SEC school."

Johnson played a versatile role for Oak Grove in 2008. He rushed for over 200 yards and picked up over 600 yards receiving in a diverse offense with several playmakers. The 6-foot-1 prospect was also one of the top wide receiver performers at the U.S. Army Combine back in January.
