Orange flip Mungwa
As time is running out in the recruiting process Syracuse is looking to fill just a few more spots. Today they did fill one of their open spots.
Shutang Mungwa was a long time commitment to Stanford and that pledge fell apart tonight as the New Jersey product flipped to the Syracuse Orange.
"Syracuse is really like a family atmosphere and when I go to Syracuse I feel at home."
Mungwa, 6-foot-2, 200 pounds has liked the Orange from the start of the process and he has talked about a few of the items he has liked at Syracuse.
"It was definitely the coaching staff because they had a lot of guys who played in the NFL, so the knowledge is not just from a coaching standpoint, but a player's standpoint as well. Their weight room and weight training programs seem really good, probably the best I have seen."
For Mungwa it is fitting he went with the Orange in the end because of one quote he made at the start of the process.
"Syracuse sent me the offer letter on March 6th." Mungwa said. "It was one of the happiest days of my life. I am really thankful for Syracuse for giving me the opportunity to fulfill my dream of playing college ball."
