Ask the expert: Missouri
Kansas State travels to Missouri on Saturday looking to earn its 14th-straight win in the series between the Tigers and Wildcats, but this isn't the same type of Missouri squad K-State is used to winning against. The Tigers are one of the Big 12's best teams, and to tell us all about Chase Daniel and Missouri we contacted PowerMizzou.com's Gabe DeArmond to discuss this weekend's matchup.
1.) How do you expect Missouri to react to last week's loss at Texas A&M?
I think there is the possibility for a hangover, but I think that is negated by two things. One, this is the first home game in three weeks, it's Homecoming at 65000 fans are expected to be in attendance. Two, it's Kansas State. The last time this program beat KSU, the oldest guy on the team wasn't even ten years old. In addition, this team really does seem to be able to take one at a time. The loss hurt, but not all that bad. And they take the knowledge that they played a mediocre game, they gave the ball away three times, didn't take it away once, and they still had a shot to win the game on the road with five minutes left. That's not bad.
