Oxford WR decides to stay home
When Ed Orgeron and the Ole Miss football staff hosted summer camps, prospects traveled from all around the country to showcase their talent for the Rebel coaches.
But one of the players who stood out barely had to leave his backyard, Oxford High School wideout Horatio Williams.
Williams committed after the camp, and said seeing the coaching staff work in camp sealed the deal.
"I liked Coach O., and all the other coaches were great," Williams said. "I got to see their style of play."
At 6-foot-2 and 175 pounds, Williams definitely got some attention with a blazing 4.31 40-yard dash time.
"I ran a fast 40 time, my vertical jump was alright and I did really well in the one-on-one drills," he said.
