2009 OL attends camp at A&M
During the excitement of the Texas state 7-on-7 championships this past weekend on the Texas A&M campus, many athletes were able to display their talents in front of large crowds. However, there is one group of players that were not able to make an impact in the tournament.
With the game designed for skill position players such as wide receivers and defensive backs, the linemen are left without a role. However, that didn't stop some of them from putting on impressive performances of their own in College Station.
On Friday, the Aggie coaches hosted a one-day camp for offensive and defensive linemen. While several players came out and participated in the camp, there was one class of 2009 prospect that particularly stood out.
Lexington (TX) offensive tackle Michael Brown made his second trip to a camp at A&M this summer. The 6-foot-6, 290 pound Brown has made no secret in the past that the Aggies are his early favorite. Therefore, he had some extra motivation to perform well at the camp.
